Broadcast History for August

Season Ten concluded airing on 4th August with the previously skipped episode, Homer to the Max (AABF09). Subsequently, the Wednesday timeslot was occuppied by a selection of early, Season Nine repeats. Meanwhile, episodes from early in Season Eight aired Sundays at 6:30pm until the return of the 7:30pm Sunday double timeslot from 22nd August. This was the result of Ten's decision to move Good News Week to a new timeslot, 9:30am Monday. What followed was a sequence of specials, each composed of two, merged episodes with a common theme. The episodes were taken from Seasons Eight and Seven. Weekday stripping also continued, at 7:00pm, with episodes spanning all of Season Two and the beginning of Season Three.

Foxtel Broadcasts in August

August saw the weekday stream expanded by the addition of a new timeslot at 8:00am, making room for two episodes to air each day, the first at 7:00am alone, the second at 8:00am and 7:00pm. This allowed the majority of Season Eight and all of Season Nine to air in August. The other two streams aired as before, showing from the middle of Season Six to the middle of Season Eight weekend mornings, and the bulk of Season One weekend evenings at 6:00pm.
