Network Ten Broadcasts in September

Ten's Sunday evening timeslot had by now clearly settled into being a repeat timeslot, replacing previous years' weekday stripping. It seems a reasonable compromise, especially since many fans, watching stripped episodes nearly every day, had learned all the best lines and grown bored. The timeslot screened merged episodes from the second half of Season Five this month. In the meantime, the Wednesday evening timeslot, continuing mainly so as to retain its prominence in viewers' minds, was showing more recent repeats, from the middle of Season Six.

Foxtel's Simpsons timeslots were stable during September, the only anomaly being the pre-emption of the 5:00am repeat timeslot on Sunday, 20th September (actually screening -- or rather, not screening -- on the Monday morning). The weekday stream showed episodes from early in Season Four to early in Season Five. The weekend morning stream covered the end of Season Two through to the start of Season Five, just managing to catch the weekday stream. The two weekend evening streams showed episodes from the middle of Season Seven and the middle of Season Six, on Saturdays and Sundays, respectively.
