Network Ten Broadcasts in November

With summer approaching, Season Four and Seven repeats continued to screen on Sunday nights, at 7:00pm and 7:30pm, respectively. The intervening credits and opening sequence also continued to be cut. However, on 23rd November, Ten paired "The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular!" with "The Springfield Files", and showed both in their entirety. Then, as programming shifted gear for summer, the Sunday timeslot was shifted half an hour later on the 30th November, to start at 7:30pm. In the meantime, weekday stripping continued at 7:00pm, completing Season Two and getting part-way into Season Three before summer scheduling changes reassigned the timeslot to Roseanne. Stripping of The Simpsons ceased on the 28th November.

On FOX8, summer started on the 17th November, two weeks ahead of the free-to-air networks. The Simpsons were only superficially affected by summer programming changes. On the 17th November, the evening session of the weekday stream was split in two. Rather than appearing in one 1-hour block, the morning's episodes were repeated in two half-hour timeslots, at 7:00pm and 11:30pm. At the end of the month, this stream had reached the end of Season Five and begun screening Season Six episodes for the first time in this timeslot. Saturday and Sunday mornings continued to screen episodes new to Foxtel, completing Season Eight on the 22nd November with an episode not yet shown by Ten ("The Secret War of Lisa Simpson", 4F21), then returning to the start of Season Three. Due to mistaken information being accidentally submitted to the Foxtel Guide for December, the last weekend of November jumped back again, to the middle of Season One, ending the month part-way through Season Two. Weekend evenings screened episodes from Season Five. A repeat timeslot at 11:30pm was introduced briefly, for the last two weekends in November.
